Play Video Fighting Games and Earn Some Real Cash

There are many places to search for rare games at low prices. Ebay is not one of them. Once in a while, you might find a game that you could buy cheap and make a good profit. However, most people selling games on Ebay
have done their research. They know the value of what they are selling. Some of them make a living off of it. You are going to want to search places where people haven't done the research. Garage sales are a good starting point. Perhaps you will stumble upon a family garage sale that consists of boxes in storage that were taking up room. Maybe they had a lot of NES games in the attic, but they don't play video games anymore. Now, they just want to get rid of them and are selling them for $4 or $5.

Another good place to prowl for hard to find games is your local flea market. If your flea market is like the one near me, there are tables outside that random people rent for the day and there are buildings which house stores that the regulars run every weekend. From my experience, the store owners are not the ones that you will find deals at. They use the same method I am telling you. In fact, that is how I first came upon this way. I noticed one of the guys that had a video game store just walking around the outside tables, buying lots of retro games for cheap. Then, he would put them in his store and make nice profits from them. So search the tables outside. Many people don't price the games they sell based on the rarity of the title. They usually set a flat rate depending on what system the game is for. These sellers are great, because if you buy multiple fighting games from them they will usually give you some sort of discount.

The last place I frequent on the hunt is thrift stores. Stores such as Goodwill sometimes have hidden gems that no one picks up on. You might happen to find a Sega Genesis game that goes for $50 for about 2 bucks. This may not happen that frequently, but it is definitely worth checking out. Once you have found a game that you can make a considerable profit from, it's time to sell it.

There are many ways of doing this. Ebay is probably most people's first choice. It is a good choice, but remember that the game you plan on selling for $50 is also going to be sold by someone else. They will probably
price their's cheaper, especially if they have a video game store. So sellers will be competing for customers' business, and seeing if they can lower the price of the game more than other sellers. So the game you were planning on selling for $40 will probably end up going for $30, $20, or even lower. There are alternatives though. There are forums on the internet that consist of primarily video game collectors. Browse these and see if anyone would like to buy some of your games. There are also sites such as www.gamegavel.com and www.chasethechuckwagon.com, which are auction sites like Ebay, except that they cater to gamers only. They also have no insertion fees for listings. You can also try using social networking sites to your advantage, or listing your games on craigslist.

Don't expect to start banking off of this right away. This is not a get rich quick method. These are just some helpful hints on making money with something you are passionate about. It may take a while before you find a play games that will make you some cash, but be patient. Good luck and happy hunting!
