Scribblenauts Game

Now, if you have always wanted to put God riding Lord Kthulu play games in a cage match against Death riding the Kraken, then this is the perfect game for you. Throw in the sword Excalibur and a scythe and you have the perfect match up. The game that would be best for this would be Scibblenauts, with groundbreaking freedom this game gives you everything.

Game Play

The gameplay to Scribblenauts is pretty much just collecting stars, sort of like the Mario games, except better. Let’s say your star was up in a tree, the challenge would be getting it down, the only restrictions are your imagination. (And of course the stupid complexity meter.) “so go ahead, write “Flamethrower” and torch the tree, or write “Lumberjack” and get him to do it for you.

Even the Title screen is great, with no time limit and no objectives you can just spend hours doing nothing with random things. One of my most favorite things is writing “lolwut” then get the kraken and god, tie them both to a car then take off with it. Do what you want how you want.

One thing I really hated about the game though is the fact that you used the directional pad to move the screen and after about five seconds it would return to your character. You had to tap the screen to get Maxwell to walk there, thus sometimes resulting in an accidental item tap and that would send it flying, or make a tower crumble like it was nothing.

Levels

There are two types of levels in this game, there are Challenge levels and Puzzle levels, Puzzle levels are my favorite.

Free Games Challenge Levels: The main point of challenge levels is to do something to get the star, something like this might sound easy but it is actually quite hard. After you beat them the first time you are able to go back a second time and replay them, but you are not allowed to use the same words, so take the Star-in-a-tree level for example, if you used the word lumberjack the next time you play you won’t be allowed to use that word, so it challenges your creativity.

Puzzle Levels: Puzzle levels are probably my favorite of the two, what it requires you to do is get from point “A” to point “B” by doing tasks along the way, then the Stars will appear when you have completed those tasks. In one level you were required to “jump” over a car via ramp, you could use a car, or put a panda bear on a unicycle and ride him down the hill, because that’s always fun. Again, once you beat the levels you can go through a second time and try to use different words to beat the level.
