The Ghosts 'n Goblins series composes of some of the most difficult fighting games ever created and it was the original that started it all. As the knight Arthur, you must past through the numerous challenges against demonic creatures in order to rescue the princess. Past the frustrating difficulty, you will find that Ghosts 'n Goblins has a lot of redeeming qualities such as intense action and a haunting soundtrack. If you haven't own it already (it was ported to many consoles and portables). Ghosts 'n Goblins is worth the 500 Wii Points on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console.
Cybernator
Developer: NCS, Publisher: HUDSON SOFT, Original System: Super NES, Original Release Date: 1993, Genre: Adventure, Controller Options: Classic and Gamecube, Wii Points: 800, ESRB Rating: E10+
The best way to describe Cybernator is that it is Mega Man with giant mechs. In a post-apocalyptic world where resources are slim, you must engage in a war for resources. The intense action makes Cybernator one of the most underrated giant robot games of all time and one of the best Virtual Console games released this month. Although the game was censored and poorly translated when it was bought over to North America, Cybernator is still a solid run-and-gun game that should please fans of the genre.
